Senior Consultant Strategy Operations

Responsibilities


  • Manage and execute strategy and operational transformation projects, across a broad and diverse array of client, market and sectors.
  • Navigate and structure emerging challenges effectively, transforming initial uncertainties into well-defined projects and actionable strategies.
  • Perform feasibility studies and market analysis to underpin client strategies and decision-making, particularly in industrial sectors and B2B markets.
  • Develop financial models and conduct financial analysis to assess project and investment performance.
  • Facilitate business strategy and planning engagements, ensuring alignment with client goals and delivering measurable outcomes.
  • Draft proposals, define project scopes and schedules, and manage engagements to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Maintain and enhance client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and fostering opportunities for future engagements.
  • Lead project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure professional growth and project success.
  • Manage the financial aspects of projects, including timely invoicing and collection to ensure project profitability and financial health.



Qualifications



  • 3-5 years (Position: Consultant) AND 5-10 years (Senior Consultant) of experience in strategy and operations consulting at a globally recognized firm.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and leading diverse and strategic projects across multiple sectors.
  • Possesses a strong entrepreneurial spirit, underpinned by robust business and commercial acumen, essential for driving growth and achieving sustainable results in dynamic environments.
  • Self-starter, highly motivated and resourceful with the ability to identify problems and initiate appropriate solutions.
  • Capable of working effectively with a diverse team of professionals, adapting to changing needs and wearing multiple hats as required.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt and excel in developing strategies for projects beyond established methodologies, showcasing innovative and analytical thinking.
  • Experience with both strategy development and organizational transformation projects.
  • Experience in managing first-time projects for a practice, with the skill to navigate, define, and execute strategies in new areas effectively.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to draft detailed project proposals, define project scopes, and manage timelines and deliverables.
  • Strong skills in financial modelling and analysis, with knowledge of valuation methods being advantageous.
  • Comprehensive understanding of business analysis and experience in managing end-to-end consulting engagements.
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships, from initial contact through to project completion and follow-up.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and written and verbal communication skills.
