Senior Consultant - Technical Audit (Capital Projects & Consulting)

We have a challenging opportunity opened for the role of Senior Consultant in our Capital Projects & Construction practice.

To execute technical audits and project assurance assignments for capital projects and real estate developments, ensuring adherence to design, quality, cost, schedule, and contractual requirements, and providing independent assurance to management on project performance and controls.

Role Requirements

Some of the key responsibilities of this role are:

• Conduct technical audits and project assurance reviews across ongoing and completed capital projects and real estate developments.
• Review project planning, design, execution, and close-out processes for compliance with approved standards, specifications, and best practices.
• Assess project cost, quantities, BOQs, change orders, and variation claims from a technical and contractual perspective.
• Review construction quality, workmanship, and adherence to drawings, codes, and specifications through site visits and document reviews.
• Identify technical gaps, control weaknesses, and execution risks, and recommend corrective actions.
• Review contractor performance, billing, certifications, and progress measurement.

Desired Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with relevant discipline (e.g. Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Construction etc.) or Architecture.
• Experience of working in any of the Big 4 consulting firms in the region with focus on Capital Projects Advisory, including dispute resolution.
• Candidate with Minimum 3 years of industry related / relevant consulting experience with in-depth understanding of the Capital Projects domain with prime focus on project controls/Technical Audits.
• Arabic/Bilingual proficiency preferred
