Senior Consumer Research Manager

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

The Senior Consumer Research Manager will be responsible for leading and delivering world-class quantitative and qualitative research across diverse customer bases and growth markets.


This role oversees the complete research lifecycle from project commissioning and briefing through to the delivery of actionable insights while collaborating with agency partners, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of technical research expertise, commercial acumen, and strong storytelling skills to influence strategy at the highest level.


Key Responsibilities


  • Commission and manage consumer research projects from brief development through to final insight presentations.
  • Lead end-to-end research activities, including survey design, methodology selection, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Build and manage relationships with external research agencies to ensure high-quality and cost-effective delivery.
  • Apply advanced research techniques such as segmentation, conjoint analysis, MaxDiff, brand/campaign tracking, usage & attitude studies, and communication testing.
  • Provide strategic, insight-driven recommendations to inform brand, marketing, product, and customer experience decisions.
  • Monitor consumer trends, behaviors, and cultural shifts to identify new opportunities.
  • Partner closely with analysts and insights leaders to develop an integrated understanding of customers.
  • Collaborate with creative and media partners to ensure insights shape campaign strategies, content, and media planning.
  • Present insights and implications in a clear, compelling manner to senior stakeholders and leadership teams.


Skills & Experience


  • Extensive experience in primary consumer research (both quantitative and qualitative), ideally within dynamic, consumer-focused industries.
  • Strong technical expertise in segmentation, conjoint analysis, MaxDiff, brand tracking, and behavioral research.
  • Proven track record of managing external agencies and research vendors.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex insights into accessible, business-relevant narratives.
  • Ability to synthesize data from multiple sources including quantitative studies, qualitative feedback, cultural trend analysis, and social listening.
  • Commercially minded, with a strong focus on driving measurable business outcomes and customer impact.
  • Experienced in working cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Digital teams.
