Senior Credit Analyst

We are currently recruiting a Senior Credit Analyst for our Banking client based in Dubai, UAE.

Job Purpose:

To underwrite and approve retail credit applications including mortgages, personal loans, auto loans, and credit cards within delegated authority and in line with the bank’s credit policies. The role involves evaluating high value transactions, reviewing deviations, and supporting restructuring proposals.

JobResponsibilities:

• Assess and approve credit applications up to AED 2 million exposure
• Evaluate borrower profiles, financials, collateral, and valuation reports
• Review and escalate out of policy and restructuring cases
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, operational risk guidelines, and audit standards
• Maintain high productivity and service levels while ensuring quality underwriting
• Collaborate with internal teams and communicate decisions to front-end teams

Job Requirements:

• Should have proven experience in UAE retail credit underwriting, especially mortgages.
• Minimum 4 years of expereince in Retail Banking Credit underwriting.
• Strong analytical and decision making skills
• Familiarity with valuation tools (e.g., Reidin) and credit systems
• Excellent understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks
• Bachelor's or master's degree in relevant field.
