Job Overview
The Analyst plays a critical role in supporting investment management and advisory activities. This job includes conducting comprehensive financial and market analysis, building robust financial models, supporting transaction execution, preparing pitch materials, and contributing to due diligence processes. The Analyst will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of investment services and maintain high standards of financial insight and executional excellence.
Job Responsibilities
Market Research and Industry Analysis

Conduct comprehensive research on global and regional macroeconomic trends, sector-specific developments, and competitive landscapes.

Stay abreast of industry news, regulatory changes, and market signals to inform investment strategies and client advisory.

Perform qualitative and quantitative assessments of sectors and companies to identify emerging risks and opportunities.
Financial Analysis and Modelling

Analyse company financials, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to assess operational performance and financial health.

Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support investment decisions, including forecasts, scenario analyses, and pro forma financial statements.

Execute valuation methodologies such as Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), Comparable Company Analysis, Precedent Transaction Analysis, and Leveraged Buyout (LBO) models to determine asset and company values.

Conduct sensitivity analyses and benchmarking exercises to test model assumptions and assess risk exposures.
Transaction Execution and Deal Support

Assist in the end-to-end execution of investment banking and advisory mandates, including M&A, IPOs, and capital raising transactions.

Support deal origination efforts by preparing pitch decks, teasers, and client-facing presentations. Coordinate internal due diligence and liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate data collation.

Manage data rooms and facilitate Q&A processes with clients, advisors, and counterparties during live transactions. Investment Evaluation and Risk Assessment

Conduct independent assessments of potential investment opportunities across multiple asset classes, including structured finance, private credit, real assets, private equity, venture capital, direct and fund investments.

Evaluate investment risks and returns, present investment recommendations, and prepare internal investment memos for decision-making committees.

Support the development of risk mitigation strategies aligned with the firm’s investment policy and risk appetite. Reporting, Monitoring, and Performance Tracking

Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for portfolio companies and investment mandates, highlighting variances and proposing corrective measures.

Maintain dashboards and reporting tools to support ongoing monitoring and performance evaluation.

Provide regular updates on market movements and portfolio impact to internal stakeholders and clients.
Business Development and Client Interaction

Participate in client interactions to gather information, understand strategic goals, and respond to queries or data requests.

Support the preparation of client engagement materials to drive business development and relationship management efforts.

Assist in identifying cross-sell opportunities within the firm’s broader financial services ecosystem.
Operational and Administrative Support

Ensure all transaction documentation is accurately recorded and filed in accordance with internal controls and compliance standards.

Provide general administrative and coordination support to the Investment Management & Advisory team as needed.

Maintain organized records and assist in audit and compliance reviews related to investment activities.

Experience Required

Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, or a similar environment.

Demonstrated expertise in financial modelling, valuation, and analytical tools.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline
