About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Senior CSR / Trucking sales with a strong background in trucking BPO operations and a proven track record in freight dispatch and sales. The ideal candidate will excel in lead generation, negotiation, and managing carrier/shipper relationships while ensuring efficient freight operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development (Hunter):
- Proactively prospect, cold call, and generate new sales leads to expand the customer base.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Identify customer needs and present tailored transportation solutions (e.g., Truckload, LTL, Flatbed, Expedited).
- Prepare and negotiate competitive rates and quotes with new and existing customers.
- Build a robust pipeline of potential clients and manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to closing the deal.
Customer Service & Account Management (Nurturer):
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of existing customers, building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships.
- Manage the entire order lifecycle: receive orders, schedule pickups, track and trace shipments in real-time, and proactively communicate updates to customers.
- Quickly and effectively resolve any issues that arise during transit, such as delays, damages, or accessorial charges.
- Coordinate closely with dispatchers, drivers, and carriers to ensure on-time pickup and delivery.
- Process orders, update tracking information, and manage documentation in our Transportation Management System (TMS).
Operational Excellence:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and interactions in the company CRM.
- Work collaboratively with the operations team to ensure capacity and service requirements are met.
- Stay informed on market trends, industry conditions, and capacity fluctuations to provide informed recommendations.
