Senior Data Analyst

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Analyst with deep technical expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases to support enterprise-level analytics and data-driven decision-making. The role requires hands-on proficiency in advanced query development, data modeling, and performance optimization, along with the ability to work closely with senior business stakeholders. Fluency in Arabic and English is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, including advanced joins, CTEs, window functions, and subqueries
• Perform query tuning and performance optimization on large, high-volume datasets
• Analyze and integrate data from relational and NoSQL databases
• Develop and maintain analytical datasets, KPIs, and business metrics
• Build and support dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across data sources
• Support ad-hoc, operational, and executive-level analytics and reporting
• Collaborate with business, engineering, and architecture teams on data requirements and solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 15+ years of hands-on experience in data analysis or business intelligence
• Expert-level SQL skills (complex joins, CTEs, window functions, query optimization)
• Strong experience with NoSQL technologies (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra, or similar)
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written)
• Working experience in Utilities domain will be an added advantage
