1. JOB DETAILS

Position Title: Senior Data Analyst

2. JOB PURPOSE

Responsible to provide pro-active and reactive operational performance analysis, monitoring, and import, clean, transform, validate and/ or model data with the purpose of understanding in order to make conclusions from the data for decision making purposes.

3. DUTIES

1 Provide technical expertise to the information system team in major application deployment by assisting in designing process to arrive at high performance and optimal operational solutions.

2 Develop Consolidate operational dashboards, analyse and report of customer experience data to the management team and individual stakeholders

3 Reduce manual operational jobs by ensuring automation of as many operational procedures for monitoring and supporting databases

4 Responsible for improving data quality through data cleansing, filtering out the irrelevant data to the business

5 Support integration of GIS with FM, CMMS, and other legacy systems by preparing accurate datasets.

6 Produce reports and analysis through presentations on the internal performance of the

Operations department against the set KPIs. Ensure that this information is timely, accurate and highlights areas of opportunity or risk to the business. Proactive research of operational issues to determine a source of data discrepancy and identify solutions for prevention of future discrepancy.

7 Analyse information using various statistical methods, highlight patterns and trends within the data suggesting conclusions. Support Line Manager by designing and presenting conclusions gained from analysing data using statistical tools

4. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE

1 Relevant College or University qualification to min Bachelor's level in data science or IT

2 Strong analytical and presentation skills

3 Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft office package.

4 Database Performance Tuning and Analyse multiple operational systems (SCADA, CBMS,

Siemens, Atlas, Idox Fusion, etc.)

5 Software Development Fundamentals Support ongoing Oracle ERP migration to Cloud based

solution

6 SQL, Excel (advanced), ETL tools.

5. MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

1 Relevant College or University qualification to min Bachelor's level in data science or IT

6. MINIMUM YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

1 Minimum 5 years relevant experience
