Hiring Range: $94,000- $99,900 annually
This position has an anticipated work schedule of Monday – Friday, with flexible hours between 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Schedule is subject to change.
This senior-level position is responsible for analyzing, evaluating, documenting, and delivering on data requirements, as well as maintaining, analyzing, and transforming data into insights to guide strategy and inform program data, data systems, and software decisions. Responsible for establishing data standards and modeling practices. Employment is subject to the terms, conditions, and policies detailed in the Personnel Policies Manual (PPM). This position requires regular in-person presence as an essential job function. This position may be subject to grant funding.
- Develops complex SQL queries and stored procedures for data analysis, quality control, data integrity, and reporting datasets.

Develops, enhances, and maintains reports and visualizations using Power BI and other Microsoft-based applications.

Performs a variety of research, analysis, design, testing, integration, maintenance, support, and troubleshooting tasks.

Collects, analyzes, interprets, and summarizes novel data and incorporates new attributes into new or existing datasets for reporting and visualization.

Develops and serves as a subject matter expert regarding data management practices and contributes to increasing the data maturity by providing guidance and hands-on support.

Responsible for leading and facilitating interview sessions with technical and business stakeholders to understand and document application, data, and reporting requirements. Guides stakeholders through data harmonization activities to enhance the quality and utility of business data.

Communicates summary analysis and findings to stakeholders, both internal and external.

Performs daily data quality control and integrity checks and makes recommendations for automation opportunities. Identifies, recommends, and implements process optimization programs using best practice methodologies. Facilitates automation efforts by developing and deploying minor applications to complement existing line-of-business applications.

Conducts and supports data profiling activities in relation to data quality assessment and metadata analysis. Develops and manages the enterprise data dictionary by recording data attributes and associated metadata to increase the understanding and utility of data.

Establishes and applies data standards and documentation.

Establishes and applies data modeling practices and data architecture options; provides guidance and support to stakeholders.

Supports new enterprise-level information management capabilities and related change efforts.

Coordinates with internal service providers and end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction. Works directly with third-party vendors to coordinate release upgrades, resolve system failures, and define specifications for new system features.

Performs project management activities, including project plan development, status tracking, and coordination of teams.

Creates non-technical summaries and other materials to assist in the communication of project efforts and outcomes.

Provides reporting assistance and technical training to non-technical end-users.

Drives product adoption and ensures a positive user experience and understanding by hosting product user groups and facilitating product-related knowledge-sharing.

Duties are primarily performed in an office and/or remote work environment dependent on Department discretion and business needs. May be required to work outside of normal business hours and respond to sensitive situations 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; may be required to carry a cell phone.
