We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer who can take ownership of our analytics infrastructure and drive the development of high performance data systems.

You are not just writing pipelines. You are designing the foundation that enables real time insights, machine learning, and data driven strategy. You will work closely with engineering, product, and business teams to transform complex data into structured, usable assets.

Key Responsibilities

Data Platform Ownership
Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes for structured and unstructured data.

End to End Data Engineering
Develop data ingestion, transformation, and storage solutions that support analytics, reporting, and machine learning use cases.

Performance Optimization
Ensure high performance and cost efficient data processing across large datasets and distributed systems.

Data Quality and Governance
Implement data validation, monitoring, and governance frameworks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and security.

Collaboration
Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and software engineers to deliver reliable data solutions aligned with business goals.

What We Are Looking For

Experience
5 to 8 years of experience in data engineering or backend engineering with strong exposure to data platforms.

Technical Skills
Strong experience in Python and SQL
Hands on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS
Experience with Spark, Airflow, or similar tools
Knowledge of data warehousing and data modeling concepts

Systems Thinking
Ability to design scalable and maintainable data architectures for high volume environments.

Communication Skills
Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non technical stakeholders.

Mindset
You are solution oriented, detail focused, and able to balance speed with quality in a production environment.

Pay: QAR18,000.00 - QAR26,000.00 per month
