Job description:


The Data Engineer is an analytics specialist in the business, focusing on the management of data from multiple sources and providing data-driven insights for relevant departments. Ensures that collected data is relevant and exhaustive and interprets the analytics results. Ensures that the data collected is relevant and exhaustive and interprets the results of the analysis. Is a data analyst who transforms data into information, information into insights and insights into business decisions. The Data Engineer supports Operation Data Analysis and Data Science teams, by building scalable and dynamic data structures, optimized towards dashboard development, data analysis and models creation and deployment.


Key responsibilities and Accountabilities:


The Data Engineer ensures implementation and continuous improvement of needed infrastructure towards the Data Analytics needs:


  • Business analysis of on-going projects, source mapping and data integration in order to upgrade operations' BI processes.
  • Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architectures for report development.
  • Support Data Scientists and Analysts with data pipelines, allowing advanced analytics and data products.
  • Support the implementation team on complex data sources integration: interpretation and analysis of data structures, Proficiency with hands on Experience in Azure Data Bricks Tools and DevOps Pipeline Development.
  • Ensure all Teleperformance processes, procedures and policies are fulfilled, including but not limited to GDPR - General Data Protection Regulation, GECSP - Global Essential Compliance, Information Security Policies, HR, etc;
  • Be an active part in the processes of continuous improvement, reporting all improvement opportunities and contributing on a daily basis to inform all operational coordination about the issues that may need an adjustment and proposing innovations methods across the department and the company (producing fresh and imaginative ideas and solutions).
  • Work close with Data Scientists on end-to-end product development.
  • Follow industry trends ensuring we are using up to date and optimal technology.
  • Can be responsible to approve the activities in the ROP (Data Mapping Questionnaire), inserted by the team under its responsibility (GDPR Scope).
  • Can be responsible to create and upload (or to ensure the completion by a designated employee) new activities in the ROP (Records of Processing) according to GDPR legislation in force.



Education and specific Training:


Higher Education Degree (Engineering, Mathematics or Computer Sciences - preferred).

Fluency in English is (Mandatory).


Work Experience:


Data Engineer, Especially with Hands on Experience in Data Bricks Tools for +2 Years and also in DevOps Pipeline Development.


Experience on Contact Centers and shared services for international markets and/or related industries (preferential).


Technical Skills Highly skilled in:

MSSQL and SSIS; Database Arquitecture, Datawarehouse, OLAP / Cubes; Dominates a vast set of tools / software / programming languages for consultation and data analysis, as for example and without exclusion of others: PowerPoint, Excel, PowerPivot, Power Query, Power BI, Access, Visual Basic, OLAP Cubes, MDX, Python
