About the Role:

As a Senior Data Scientist at Jeel, you’ll lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable AI/ML solutions that directly impact customers, internal decision-making, and business outcomes. You’ll work across data engineering, MLOps, analytics, and governance – while exploring the frontier of GenAI, LLMs, and applied data science in fintech.

This role isn’t just about building models – it’s about shaping the AI strategy of a digitally-ambitious organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

🧠 AI Strategy & Model Development – Build and operationalise ML models that solve high-impact business problems using Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.

📊 Data Analytics & Visualisation – Deliver predictive insights via tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Apache Superset.

🚀 MLOps & Deployment – Deploy robust, scalable models via CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes and cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS).

📉 Cost Efficiency & Performance Tuning – Optimise data pipelines, AI workloads, and storage costs across cloud-native platforms.

🛡️ Ethical AI & Governance – Ensure regulatory compliance (SAMA, GDPR, NCA) and promote responsible AI standards.

🤝 Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with engineers, product owners, and business leaders to embed intelligence into every decision.

Who We’re Looking For:

✅ Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Statistics, or related field.

✅ Experience : 5+ years in data science/ML; hands-on cloud AI deployment; MLOps and big data engineering.

✅ Technical Stack : Python, R, SQL, Spark, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab CI, Apache Kafka.

✅ Bonus : Experience with LLMs, RAG, NLP, and real-time data streaming.

✅ Soft Skills : Strategic mindset, excellent storytelling, collaboration, and curiosity.
