Senior Design Engineer

Qualification

• B.E. in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Experience

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in design and drafting of process equipment

Scope and Responsibilities

• Prepare general arrangement (GA) drawings for process equipment.
• Develop bill of materials (BOM) for procurement and fabrication activities.
• Revise and update drawings as per manufacturing feasibility and customer feedback.
• Create accurate 2D and 3D models of process equipment using CAD tools.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including project managers, manufacturing, and quality teams.
• Ensure designs conform to industry standards, project specifications, and client requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ Years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Solid Edge for 2D/3D modeling.
• Familiarity with GD&T, surface finishes, welding details, and engineering notes.
• Experience in preparing detailed fabrication drawings and material take-offs.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as laser cutting, bending, welding, and machining.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving approach.
