Modura Furniture is a leading manufacturer of sheet metal furniture such as supermarket racks, pharmacy racks, and laboratory furniture. We are looking for a highly skilled Design Engineer with expertise in sheet metal design and a passion for innovation & R&D.

Role Overview:

The Design Engineer will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing new furniture products, ensuring functionality, durability, and aesthetics. The role demands strong technical knowledge, creativity, and confidence in driving new product development.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop sheet metal furniture products using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).

Conduct R&D for new designs, materials, and manufacturing processes.

Prepare detailed drawings, 3D models, and BOMs.

Collaborate with production to ensure feasibility and cost-effectiveness.

Innovate and improve existing designs for better functionality and durability.

Ensure designs meet industry standards and customer requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Design Engineering.

3–7 years of experience in sheet metal product design (preferably furniture or fabrication industry).

Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar tools.

Strong knowledge of sheet metal processes (laser cutting, bending, welding, powder coating, etc.).

Creative thinker with strong problem-solving and R&D skills.

Confident, self-driven, and able to take ownership of new product development.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
