Senior Design Engineer – Fire Protection

Job Description

Haseen Habib Corporation, a leading fire protection and safety solutions company, is looking for a Senior Design Engineer – Fire Protection to lead our design department. The ideal candidate will be a technically strong professional with extensive knowledge of international standards and proven experience in designing fire protection systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the design team for all fire protection projects.
• Design and develop complete fire protection systems including:
• Fire Hydrant Systems
• Fire Alarm Systems
• Fire Suppression Systems (Gas, Foam, etc.)
• Fire Sprinkler Systems
• Ensure all designs comply with NFPA, UL, and FM standards.
• Prepare technical drawings, hydraulic calculations, and system layouts.
• Review and approve design submissions, drawings, and BOQs.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal project teams.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and quality control for the design team.
• Stay updated with industry standards, new technologies, and design best practices.

Requirements

• Education: B.Sc. or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
• Experience: Minimum 10 years in fire protection system design.

Technical Knowledge:

• Proficient in NFPA, UL, and FM standards.
• Hands-on experience with HASS or other hydraulic design software.
• Strong understanding of local building codes and fire safety regulations.

Skills:

• Excellent command of English (both written and spoken).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Other Requirements:

• Must have own transport.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs150,000.00 - Rs200,000.00 per month
