Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Technical Lead to drive architecture, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade software solutions. This role requires strong expertise in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js), while also leading teams across frontend, backend, and cloud. The Tech Lead will define technical direction, ensure compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001), and guarantee delivery excellence.

Hands-on coding is not mandatory, but the Lead must have the depth to review, guide, and enforce standards. This role focuses on leadership, architecture, accountability, and ensuring the right work gets delivered by the team.

Key Responsibilities

· Define, own, and enforce the technical architecture and stack for scalable, secure, and high-performing systems.

· Lead and mentor a team of engineers across frontend, backend, and DevOps.

· Ensure MERN stack projects and integrations align with organizational goals.

· Oversee code quality, DevOps pipelines, microservices design, and deployment.

· Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize and deliver projects on time.

· Review architecture and code to ensure compliance with SOC 2 / ISO 27001.

· Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies, driving adoption.

· Responsibilities are not limited to the above and may evolve with business needs.

Technology Stack

Frontend (User Interfaces):

· Framework: Next.js (React-based, SEO friendly, server-side rendering)

· UI Library: Tailwind CSS + ShadCN/UI

· Charts & Dashboards: Recharts / D3.js / Chart.js (KPIs, ROI)

· Real-time Comms: WebRTC + Socket.IO (live coaching, calls)

· Multi-language Support: next-i18next (EN/AR/RU/CN/etc.)

Backend (APIs & Services):

· Framework: Node.js (NestJS) → scalable, modular, microservices ready

· Alternative: Java (Spring Boot) if enterprise-grade stability is needed

· Architecture: Microservices + API Gateway

· Communication: gRPC / REST / GraphQL (internal & external APIs)

· Authentication & Authorization: OAuth2.0 / JWT / SSO (e.g., UAEPass)

Database & Storage:

· Primary DB: PostgreSQL (transactional, scalable)

· Search & Listings: Elasticsearch (fast property search/filter)

· Analytics/Events: MongoDB / ClickHouse (logs, analytics, AI training)

· File Storage: AWS S3 / Azure Blob (photos, videos, contracts)

Qualifications & Skills

· Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.

· 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with 3+ years leading teams.

· Deep expertise in MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).

· Strong grasp of microservices, API design, integrations, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).

· Hands-on knowledge of DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, Docker/Kubernetes).

· Proven ability to lead teams, delegate, and hold developers accountable.

· Knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA preferred).

· Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
