Role Overview

AHK Global Solutions is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong experience in Microsoft Azure and on-premises infrastructure automation. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and maintain both cloud-based and on-premises CI/CD environments using modern DevOps tools and practices.
A key responsibility will include implementing and managing Coolify for self-hosted deployment orchestration on local infrastructure. The candidate must have deep hands-on knowledge of Azure services, Kubernetes (AKS), Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Coolify, and CI/CD automation for hybrid environments.

Key ResponsibilitiesCloud & On-Prem Infrastructure

• Architect, deploy, and manage scalable solutions on Microsoft Azure (VMs, App Services, Storage, Networking, Azure SQL, Functions).
• Design and implement on-premises systems with a focus on automation, containerization, and resource efficiency.
• Deploy and manage applications using Coolify to streamline local DevOps pipelines and simplify self-hosted environments.
• Implement high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery strategies for hybrid infrastructure.
• Optimize infrastructure costs while maintaining performance and security.

CI/CD & Automation

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins for both cloud and on-premises deployments.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, Bicep, or Ansible.
• Integrate automated testing, monitoring, and security checks into the release process.

Containers & Orchestration

• Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
• Configure and manage Coolify for self-hosted container orchestration.
• Implement Helm charts and automate scaling for workloads.

Monitoring & Security

• Use Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics to track infrastructure health.
• Implement RBAC, Azure AD, Key Vault, and Zero Trust principles.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and maintain compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and internal policies.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Mentor junior DevOps and Cloud Engineers.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and product managers to ensure reliable and secure deployments.
• Contribute to long-term DevOps strategy, automation frameworks, and hybrid-cloud best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years of DevOps experience, including 3+ years in Azure and hands-on on-premises system implementation.
• Expertise in:
• Azure services: App Services, AKS, Functions, Networking, IAM.
• CI/CD: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins.
• IaC: Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, Ansible.
• Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, Coolify.
• Strong knowledge of networking, firewalls, DNS, and VPNs.
• Scripting proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA/CKAD)
• HashiCorp Terraform Associate
