The Role

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Auroxa Tech, you will architect our cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. You will be responsible for building a secure, scalable, and highly available platform on AWS. This is a high-impact role where you will work directly with the founding engineering team to establish best practices in CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Observability. We’re seeking an engineer who is not only a cloud expert but also possesses strong computer science fundamentals and a passion for solving complex problems.

What You'll Do

• Build the Foundation: Design, build, and manage our entire cloud infrastructure on AWS using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles with tools like Terraform.
• Automate Everything: Develop and maintain sophisticated CI/CD pipelines to enable our software engineers to ship code safely, quickly, and reliably.
• Orchestrate Services: Deploy, scale, and manage our microservices architecture using Kubernetes (EKS).
• Ensure Reliability: Implement a comprehensive Observability stack, including monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting, to ensure system health and performance.
• Champion Security: Integrate security foundations and DevSecOps best practices throughout the infrastructure and software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate & Solve: Partner with the software engineering team to troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance, and build resilient systems.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or similar infrastructure-focused role.
• A strong grasp of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
• Deep, hands-on experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services) services (e.g., EKS, RDS, IAM).
• Expert-level knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration in a production environment.
• Proficiency with IaC tools, especially Terraform.
• Demonstrated experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• A solid understanding of Observability principles and experience with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or Datadog.
• Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Go, Bash).

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with service mesh technologies like Istio or Linkerd.
• Knowledge of network security (VPCs, security groups, NACLs).
• Experience managing production databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Redis).
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional certification.
• Experience with Duplo Cloud.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs200,000.00 - Rs300,000.00 per month
