Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with a minimum of 4 years of experience to join our high-performance engineering team. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping and maintaining scalable, secure, and efficient cloud infrastructure while leveraging AI-powered tools and automation to optimize operations. You’ll collaborate closely with development teams to streamline deployment pipelines, ensure system reliability, and explore AI-driven solutions for infrastructure monitoring, predictive maintenance, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS (or other cloud providers).
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Integrate AI and ML tools to enhance monitoring, predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and automated troubleshooting.
• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application performance issues using both traditional and AI-driven observability tools.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to support seamless application releases.
• Implement and enforce infrastructure security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Write and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Manage container orchestration platforms, particularly Kubernetes and Docker.
• Maintain high availability and disaster recovery strategies across environments.
• Drive cost optimization efforts using AI-driven insights and regular infrastructure reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing across teams, including AI adoption in DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in a DevOps role.
• Strong expertise with AWS (or other cloud providers like GCP or Azure).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go, including AI/ML scripting frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) a plus.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
• Solid understanding of Terraform, CloudFormation, or other IaC tools.
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows and version control best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset, including leveraging AI for operational efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or AI-driven monitoring platforms.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA/CKAD, or AI/ML certifications.
• Experience with security and compliance standards such as SOC2 or ISO 27001.
• Hands-on experience implementing AI/ML models to optimize DevOps processes, automate incident response, or drive predictive analytics.
