What You’ll Be Doing
1. Lead Design for Core Experiences
Own end-to-end design for core product areas, shaping user journeys across onboarding, engagement, decision-making, and financial access experiences.
- Translate complex fintech logic into intuitive, accessible experiences.
- Design for mobile-first experience
- Designing for internal web based tools is a plus
2. Drive Discovery and Strategy
- Partner with Product, Data, Engineering and Research to frame the right problems, validate hypotheses, and shape the roadmap.
- Conduct and synthesize user research, A/B tests, and behavioral insights to drive decisions.
- Explore divergent ideas quickly through low-fi prototypes, then refine into high-fidelity UI.
3. Collaborate Cross-Functionally
- Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Growth, Risk, and Marketing teams from ideation to ship.
- Build alignment and advocate for design excellence within your squad and across the company.
- Communicate design rationale with clarity and confidence from product reviews to C-level presentations.
4. Influence Systems & Culture
- Contribute to our evolving Design System, UX patterns, and behavior-driven design guidelines.
- Coach junior designers and help foster a high-performance, feedback-driven design culture.
- Advocate for ethical, inclusive design and data transparency.

What We’re Looking For
Must-Haves:
- 4-5 years of experience designing digital products , ideally in fintech, marketplaces, or high-growth B2C apps.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating systems thinking, user flows, and UI polish for mobile apps.
- Experience designing in cross-functional squads with PMs, engineers, and researchers.
- Solid command of Figma, prototyping tools, and design systems.
- Deep empathy for users across different income levels, literacy backgrounds, and tech savviness.
- Ability to distill complex financial concepts into simple, confident UX.
- Fluency in behavioral design, UX best practices, and accessibility principles.
Bonus Points: - Experience in growth design, onboarding optimization, or retention-focused UX.
- Familiarity with BJ Fogg’s Behavior Model, or HOOK model.
- Prior work in credit, savings, or lending products in emerging markets.
- English language skills are required.
