Role Overview

As the Senior Director – Human Resources, you will be a strategic partner to the leadership team and the driving force behind our people, culture, and performance initiatives. You’ll lead the HR function across multiple verticals — including Sales, Operations, Tech, Product, and Supply Chain — ensuring Fairdeal.Market continues to attract, retain, and develop exceptional talent.You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping organizational culture, building leadership capability, and aligning people strategy with business goals in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Partner with CXOs and business leaders to define and execute HR strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Drive organization design, workforce planning, and leadership development.
  • Strengthen company culture around ownership, performance, and innovation.

Talent Management & Development

  • Lead recruitment strategies to attract high-caliber talent across verticals.
  • Build talent pipelines, succession planning, and learning frameworks.
  • Design and implement capability development programs for mid to senior leadership.

Performance & Rewards

  • Oversee performance management and appraisal frameworks.
  • Develop competitive compensation, benefits, and rewards structures.
  • Promote a culture of meritocracy, recognition, and consistent feedback.

Culture & Engagement

  • Champion Fairdeal.Market’s core values — Frugality, Accountability, Innovation, and Relations (FAIR).
  • Lead employee engagement programs that promote inclusivity, collaboration, and motivation.
  • Conduct regular listening mechanisms and action on engagement insights.

HR Operations & Governance

  • Ensure smooth functioning of HR processes — payroll, compliance, and policy implementation.
  • Leverage data-driven insights for decision-making and workforce analytics.
  • Ensure legal compliance and best practices across all people processes.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: MBA / PGDM in HR from a Tier-1 or Tier-2 institution.
  • Experience: 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 4+ years in a leadership role.
  • Prior experience in E-commerce, Quick Commerce, or FMCG sectors preferred.
  • Strong exposure to business partnering, talent strategy, and organizational transformation.
