This is a high-impact leadership role at the convergence of Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT). You will not just be managing code; you will be building the software ecosystems that power massive engineering infrastructure. We are looking for a visionary technologist who can scale high-performing development teams, architect secure industrial IoT (IIoT) platforms, and bridge the gap between physical engineering and digital intelligence. Key Responsibilities

• Technical Strategy: Define and execute the long-term software roadmap, aligning technical innovation with the company’s industrial engineering goals (Digital Twins, Smart Infrastructure, Automation).
• Team Leadership: Scale and mentor a world-class engineering organization, managing Engineering Managers, Architects, and DevOps leads across distributed teams.
• Architecture & Delivery: Oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring robust architecture, scalable cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS), and strict adherence to Agile/DevSecOps methodologies.
• Product Innovation: Collaborate with Product Management and Industrial Engineering heads to translate complex physical requirements into intuitive software solutions.
• Quality & Security: Enforce rigorous code quality standards and cybersecurity protocols, critical for software operating in high-stakes industrial environments.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the technical voice of the company to the Board and external partners, translating complex technical risks and opportunities into business value.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: 15+ years in Software Engineering, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership role (Director or VP level) managing teams of 50+ engineers.
• Domain Expertise: Strong background in Industrial IoT, Enterprise SaaS, or Engineering Tech. Experience bridging hardware and software is a massive plus.
• Technical Depth: Deep understanding of modern tech stacks (Microservices, Python/Java/Go, Kubernetes), Cloud Native architectures, and Data Engineering.
• Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering. MBA is preferred.
• Strategic Vision: Proven track record of transforming legacy systems into modern, scalable platforms.
