Focus, Scope, & Impact:
External communications:
Lead the development, creation and implementation of Eurasia & Middle East Operating Unit communications strategies.
Develop, coordinate and lead a Operating Unit unified approach to media management.
In coordination with the Franchise/Operations PACS ( Public Affairs, Communications, Sustainability & Strategic Partnerships) Leads, initiate, maintain, build and strengthen relationships with key media contacts; create measurable value for the business; protect and enhance the company’s reputation; engage and influence key stakeholders.
Provide subject-matter expertise, content and coaching to senior management to help them serve as effective spokespeople; provide support and guidance to manage potential issues.
Coordinate with global communications teams, bottling partners and other functions to ensure consistency of messaging.
Support Eurasia & Middle East Franchise/Operations in managing external media contacts/requests.
Coordinate with Marketing and Operations, PACS support to Brand PR, PACS contribution and support to marketing and operations initiatives.
Co-lead with Marketing OU Company Brand and Social License strategy and plans.
Internal communications:
Lead The Coca-Cola Company’s internal and leadership communications in Eurasia & Middle East, including:
Leader communications (Operating Unit president)
Operating Unit-wide internal communications – including email, Yammer, Connect and other channels as appropriate
Operating Unit-wide town halls
Serving as representative in Global Internal Communications Network, closely aligned to global head of internal & leadership communications.
KEY SUCCESS PARAMETERS
Experience
10-15 years of relevant experience, including senior leadership experience
Work Focus
Lead an integrated approach to the development and implementation of external communications plans that advance awareness of the company’s business strategy and impact.
Communication Focus
The role is focused on external/internal and brand communications.
The position involves influencing and negotiating with others.
The role includes working with external and internal parties who have differing or opposing interests.
