Senior Dry Utility Engineer - 100% (m/f)

For our office in Cairo, we are looking for:


Senior Dry Utility Engineer - 100% (m/f)

The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years of experience, responsible for the design, coordination, review, and implementation of dry utility systems including electrical power, street lighting, telecom, ICT, and low current networks. The role involves close coordination with multidisciplinary teams, utility authorities, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with standards, project requirements, and timelines.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of dry utility networks (MV/LV power, street lighting, telecom, ICT, fiber optics, and low current systems).
  • Prepare and review detailed engineering drawings, layouts, profiles, sections, and utility corridor plans.
  • Ensure compliance with local authority requirements, codes, and standards (e.g., SEC, DEWA, ADDC, Kahramaa, Saudi Codes).
  • Coordinate with utility providers, authorities, and internal disciplines (civil, architectural, infrastructure).
  • Review BIM models and ensure coordination between dry utilities and other services.
  • Prepare and review Single Line Diagrams (SLD), load schedules, voltage drop calculations, and technical reports.
  • Lead technical reviews, resolve clashes, and provide constructability solutions.
  • Support tender documentation, BOQs, technical specifications, and method statements.
  • Review shop drawings, material submittals, and respond to RFIs.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Attend coordination meetings, workshops, and authority reviews as required.
  • Ensure health, safety, and quality compliance throughout the project lifecycle.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
