Senior Electrical Design Engineer – ELV / ICT

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer – ELV / ICT to join our consultancy team in Qatar. The successful candidate will lead the design, coordination, and delivery of large-scale ELV and ICT systems for complex projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations and international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and engineering of ELV & ICT systems, including but not limited to:
• Structured Cabling Systems, CCTVo Access Control, Public Address & Voice Alarm Systems, IPTV / SMATV, BMS / ICT Infrastructure.
• Prepare concept, schematic, and detailed design drawings.
• Develop technical specifications, BOQs, and design reports.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, MEP teams, and other stakeholders.
• Review and approve shop drawings, technical submittals, and material approvals.
• Ensure designs comply with Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS), local authority requirements, and international codes.
• Provide technical support during construction and attend coordination meetings.
• Support project delivery and, where required, act in a design management / project management capacity.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of total professional experience.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the Gulf region (Qatar experience strongly preferred).
• Minimum 5 years Consultancy / engineering design background is mandatory.
• UPDA Grade A Certification (Qatar) – Mandatory.
• Proven experience in large-scale, high-value, and complex projects.
• At least 5 years’ experience in a managerial or project management role.
• Strong knowledge of ELV / ICT systems design standards.
• Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
• Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.

Pay: QAR20,000.00 - QAR25,000.00 per month
