We serve those entities on an array of projects, offering consultation on technology utilization, design solutions for electrical and mechanical systems, public health systems, and equipment procurement and construction phase services.
Description:
Perform a lead role in the design, preparation of specifications, administrative functions or field designing related to assigned engineering projects under the supervision of the incumbent’s immediate supervisor or other designated professional engineer. The incumbent should ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications. The incumbent must also possess an understanding of basic issues associated with developing engineering packages/construction documentation for the assigned project.
Essential Functions:
1. Design of engineered systems of medium size and complexity. Activities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
2. Monitor the project construction activities to ensure compliance with plans and specifications. Activities may include, but not be limited to, the following:
3. Serve as project designer or project manager on assigned projects.
4. Promote efficient flow of information and ensure complete and accurate record keeping.
5. Be familiar with the Client/Company’s drawing system, design and construction standards, and applicable industry codes and practices.
6. Work independently based on general instructions, directions, or objectives from the Project Manager or Supervisor.
7. Provide direct supervision, when needed, to staff designers and technicians.
8. Must possess good technical design/planning skills and computer and financial/project management skills.
9. Able to analyze results and develop conclusions on problems.
10. Maintain a personal study program to expand and improve technical and analytical skills.
11. Keep supervision informed of the status of all projects relative to pre-established expectations.
12. Able to work independently and with others while maintaining high initiative and self-motivation.
13. Interpret plans and specifications and apply available information to satisfy all project design requirements.
14. Maintain familiarity with appropriate engineering and construction codes and ensure compliance with all codes.
Position Requirements:
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,780.00 - $82,000.00 per year
