  • Lead and manage electrical engineering design activities for onshore oil & gas facilities, with a focus on gas turbine generator systems and associated electrical infrastructure.
  • Perform Detailed Engineering tasks, including electrical load analysis, system design, equipment selection, and preparation of layouts and schematics.
  • Execute power system studies, including load flow, short circuit, arc flash, motor starting, and protection coordination.
  • Develop and review technical specifications, data sheets, and requisitions for key electrical equipment such as gas turbines, generators, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, and motors.
  • Collaborate with OEM vendors and provide technical input during procurement and equipment selection phases, especially for gas turbine packages.
  • Ensure all designs comply with applicable international standards (IEC, IEEE, NEC, API, etc.) and client-specific requirements.
  • Interface with multi-discipline teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with process, mechanical, and instrumentation disciplines.
  • Provide technical support to procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct design reviews, technical evaluations, and provide recommendations for system optimization and reliability.
  • Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis related to electrical or turbine performance issues during commissioning or operations.
  • Drive safety, reliability, maintainability, and cost-efficiency in all engineering deliverables.
