Senior Electrical Engineer

The key objective for this role is:To provide senior-level technical expertise to develop detailed, constructible electrical designs and specifications for projects during the Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) phase, ensuring these designs meet technical, safety, and client requirements within budget and schedule constraintsResponsibilitiesIn charge of the Electrical deliverablesTo participate in project scheduling and project review activitiesProvide engineering input during all design phases, including interpretation and challenge of standardsCarry out calculations & studies required to finalize electrical equipment specificationsPrepare requisitions and technical evaluation of bids for discipline material and equipment procurementReview vendor's document to ensure equipment vendors provide timely and quality input into design packagesPreparation of design documents which includes SLDs, Protection & Control schematics and layout drawingsEnsure design packages meet the relevant safety, environmental and ergonomic standardsActively communicate with other disciplines to optimize areas of interface, during the design development, review and check processesSupport design/drawing office personnel with specialist engineering inputReview all third party discipline design workUnderstand the contract quality management system and ensure these requirements are metParticipate in and sometimes lead, discipline design reviews
