WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Plan, develop, coordinate, and review Electrical maintenance work within a discipline on the plant based on the assignment.
• Supervise the day-to-day maintenance technical work of technician, specialists, and suppliers.
• Conduct annual performance reviews for direct reports in accordance with approved procedures and holds career development discussions.
• Prepare or oversee the preparation of discipline estimates and work plan in accordance with project scope, schedule, and budget, and manages implementation and performance accordingly.
• Estimate staffing needs, schedule, and assign work to meet schedule dates and maintenance plan.
• Ensure that technicians are receiving appropriate on-the-job training for their professional development.
• Promote the creation of a work environment, supported by leadership, which fosters openness, trust, communication, teamwork, empowerment, innovation, and satisfaction.
• Assist with the preparation of operations manuals in terms of electrical requirements.
• Produce and update the maintenance spare parts plan needed for the maintenance activities.
• Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, quantity take-offs and staffing requirements for proposals, forecasts, and change orders.
