Senior Electrical Engineer

· Undertake scheduled and breakdown electrical maintenance of engineering equipment’s or plant.

· Ensure that industrial machinery and equipment runs smoothly and reliably.

· Supervise engineering and technical staff.

· Act quickly to make on-the-spot repairs when electrical systems and machinery malfunction.

· Keep equipment operational by following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures; requesting repair service.

· Make inspections and assess potential problems

· Responsible for supervising electrical technicians, which includes hiring and training new technician team members.

· Achieve electrical maintenance operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews

· Provide electrical power by maintaining electrical equipment and outlets; including energy management system for lighting, security gates, and mall conveyor system.

· Comply with codes by adhering to requirements; advise senior management on needed actions.

· Maintain supplies inventory by checking electrical material stock to determine inventory levels; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for electrical material.

· Enhance facilities services and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

· Ensure there is continuous cover of the machinery and equipment in case of breakdowns.

· Ensure that equipment’s are in good working order so as to prevent disruption of activities

· Help the organization to reduce energy costs

· Troubleshoot machine breakdowns and provide preventive maintenance services

· Provide safe working environment for members of staff, and ensure electricity induced accidents and mishaps are prevented

· Anticipate problems and quickly find solutions to them, evaluate situations and provide prompt solutions to challenges

· Ensure quality of technical specifications for spares and sub-contracted work

· Provide hand on training to subordinates in order to enhance the work quality

· Maintain complete confidentiality of all sensitive matters relating to the business in general and Maintenance Department

REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering

- 8 - 10 years of experience in Real Estate

- Location (Kuwait)
