About the Role

At Gleason Associates Engineering Consultancy, we are building modern digital platforms that support engineering, infrastructure, and project delivery across Qatar. We believe that complex systems can still deliver simple, intuitive user experiences.

We are looking for a Lead Product Designer who will define and elevate our design standards across internal and client-facing platforms. This is a leadership role where you will shape product experiences, guide design decisions, and ensure usability across highly technical environments.

You will collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to translate complex workflows into clean, user-friendly interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

Design System Ownership
Maintain and improve our design components and ensure consistency across all platforms

End to End Product Design
Lead the full design lifecycle from research and wireframes to high fidelity prototypes and implementation support

Team Leadership
Guide and mentor designers, conduct reviews, and improve overall design quality

User Research and Validation
Conduct usability testing and use data insights to inform design decisions

Stakeholder Collaboration
Present design concepts clearly and align solutions with business and technical requirements

What We Are Looking For

Experience
Minimum 6 years of experience in product design UX UI with at least 1 to 2 years in a leadership role

Portfolio
Strong portfolio demonstrating complete design processes including research, problem solving, and delivered outcomes

Tools
Advanced proficiency in Figma including components, prototyping, and design systems

Communication Skills
Strong English communication skills required for collaboration with technical and business teams

Mindset
Practical and solution oriented with the ability to balance quality and delivery timelines
