Senior Electrical QA/QC Engineer

Job Summary

We are hiring a Senior Electrical QA/QC Engineer to oversee and manage quality assurance and control processes for electrical works in large-scale MEP projects. The role requires strong leadership in ensuring compliance with approved standards, drawings, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement QA/QC procedures and inspection standards
• Review and ensure compliance with approved method statements, ITPs, and drawings
• Conduct and manage work inspections (WIRs)
• Ensure high first-time approval rate of inspections
• Perform site quality audits and inspections
• Monitor material inspections and supplier quality
• Raise NCRs for non-compliant materials or work
• Conduct toolbox talks and quality briefings
• Maintain records of inspections and reports
• Prepare project closeout documentation (O&M manuals, reports)
• Manage snagging and handover processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 8+ years of MEP experience
• Strong experience in high-rise projects (Qatar/GCC)
• Proven experience in QA/QC leadership role
• Strong documentation and reporting skills

Additional Requirements

• Must be locally available in Qatar with valid QID
• UPDA certification required (if profession listed as Engineer)
• Civil background candidates will not be considered
