Job Description


Senior Engineer, Chennai

We are looking for a skilled Atlassian Engineer to oversee and enhance our suite of Atlassian tools, including Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence and Opsgenie. This role plays a vital part in driving collaboration, streamlining workflows, and supporting project management across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Configure, maintain, and optimize Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement tailored solutions.
  • Develop and maintain custom workflows, dashboards, and reports in Jira.
  • Ensure security, scalability, and reliability of the Atlassian environment.
  • Provide training and support to users on effective tool usage.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
  • Stay current with Atlassian product updates and implement new features.
  • Document configurations, processes, and best practices.

Qualifications
  • Must have at least 6+ years of working experience
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Bitbucket and Bamboo.
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and project management frameworks.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Groovy, Python).
  • You can have experience with CI/CD tools like Artifactory, Jenkins etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Experience with Atlassian Cloud solutions is a plus.
  • Atlassian certifications are highly desirable.
