What you’ll do

The Global Supply Chain - Logistics Team is responsible for managing various supply chain logistics related solutions within TJX IT. The organization delivers capabilities that enrich the customer’s experience and provide business value. We seek a motivated, talented Senior Engineer with a good understanding of SRE concepts to help develop and manage availability and reliability aspects of the Production Systems in Global Logistics.

What you’ll need

The Global Supply Chain - Logistics Team thrives on strong relationships with our business partners and working diligently to address their needs which supports TJX growth and operational stability. On this tightly knit and fast-paced solution delivery team you will be constantly challenged to stretch and think outside the box.

You will be working with Product and Platform team to monitor, control, and automate apps to ensure their reliability in a production environment. You will also be responsible for identifying and managing risks that can disrupt software development and fix anomalous behaviors in applications.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Engineering skillset / training / work experience in relevant technical domain

• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practice adoption for effectively managing the availability and reliability aspects of the Production Systems.

• Proven track record of automating complex manual tasks to reduce manual effort.

• Exposure to creating Observability dashboards providing business and technical telemetry insights.

• Well versed in creating dashboards for Infra/business metrics using visualization tool like Power BI.

• Knowledge of the SRE Key principles (SLI, SLA, SLO) and expertise in measuring/tracking error budget for ensuring resiliency of the systems.

• Strong communication and influence skills. Solid team player with mentorship skills.

• Ability to understand the work environment and competing priorities in conjunction with developing/meeting project goals.

• Shows a positive, open-minded, and can-do attitude.

• Strong automation, DevSecOps and engineering mindset.

Required Experience:

• Proficient knowledge of Splunk/AppInsights/Azure Monitor/Other Synthetic Monitoring Tools.

• Experience in Batch scheduling tools like App Dynamics or Control-M and Batch jobs monitoring enablement.

• Experience in scripting languages.

• Knowledge on Terraform, or other configuration management tools.

• Knowledge on CI/CD pipeline and version control tools like Git, Jenkins.

• Experience with tools such as JIRA, Service NOW.

• Knowledge of IT Security & Compliance.
