The Opportunity:

Job Summary

The Senior Engineer, Technology is responsible for building ETL pipelines to ingest the data from heterogeneous sources into our system. You should have excellent business and communication skills and be able to work with business owners to understand their data requirements and help them make data-related decisions using your ETL knowledge and experience. The selected candidate will have expertise in Artiva HCx and interfacing development experience.

Job Functions

  • Technical lead in Artiva HCx development, design, and implementation

  • Experience with Interface Development, Workflow, Scripting, Segmentation Filters, UI development, SQL, Advanced Troubleshooting

  • Superior understanding of the development process, including specification development, documentation, and quality assurance.

  • Developing and ensuring Interoperability between client systems, Artiva HCx, and other third-party vendors.

  • Present key findings, recommend enhancements, and work collaterally to continually strengthen Artiva HCx

  • Act as primary respondent to questions regarding business file import/export processes, workflow, and all Artiva HCx related inquiries.

  • Build, enhance and maintain the data models, interfaces and application integration required to support growing and changing business needs.

  • Collaboration with internal and external clients to respond to growing needs of the business, troubleshoot issues, and expand capabilities of the product.

  • Oversee the quality assurance of client implementations, interfaces, data processing and error resolution.

  • General knowledge of operating systems, network and computer hardware and IT infrastructures

  • Train and provide guidance to junior development staff.

Additional Job Duties:

  • Attends meetings and training as required.

  • Direct research on emerging application development platforms and standards in support of procurement and further development efforts

  • Always communicates to both external and internal clients in a professional manner.

  • Ability and willingness to learn new computer languages and technologies quickly.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • 3+ years’ Artiva HCx experience

  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with bachelor’s degree in computer science with emphasis in application development

  • 3+ years’ experience with object-oriented development, SQL, and relational database theory

  • Knowledge of Revenue Cycle Management, Collections, or financial industries desirable

  • Ability to work both independently and in a team-based, fast-paced environment.

  • Strong technical, analytical, and financial aptitude.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to design, implement, test and deploy ETL processes.

  • Ability to create and manage SSIS/ADF packages.

  • Ability to build data transformations with SSIS and other ETL tools including importing data from files, moving data from one database platform to another including Azure Cloud Databases (SQL Server and Synapse)

  • Proficiency in SSIS, SQL Server components and Azure Data Factory

  • Proficiency in Software Development best practices such as Continuous Integration, Unit/Integration Testing, Code Reviews

  • Proficiency in physical and logical data modeling

  • Ability to write SQL Stored procedures, Functions, Triggers, Constraints and Indexes

  • This position pays between $101,600 - 152,400 based on experience.

  • Must be inquisitive and demonstrate openness to innovation including AI to explore better processes and ways to alleviate friction and improve patient and client experiences.

  • This is a remote position; however, candidates must be willing and able to travel to and work onsite at client, temporary, or corporate office locations as business needs require.
