Overview:
As a Senior Information Systems Architect, you will play a critical role in designing secure, scalable, and user-centric information systems that align with the organization’s overall IT architecture. You’ll lead high-impact projects, mentor junior team members, and ensure that systems are built with security and performance at the forefront.
This is a senior-level position ideal for professionals with deep technical expertise, a strong understanding of information security, and a passion for designing systems that drive business value.


Schedule:
8:00AM – 5:00PM Monday - Friday (On call support required, as needed).

Senior Information Technology Services Specialist
Join our dynamic Information Technology Services team, where you'll play a critical role in securely managing information systems throughout their lifecycle. We're looking for a senior-level professional who brings deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and a passion for mentoring others.
Key Responsibilities
  • Secure System Lifecycle Management
    Oversee the full lifecycle of information systems, ensuring secure design, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Data Security & Compliance
    Understand and manage sensitive data stored, transmitted, or processed by systems. Enforce principles of least privilege and least functionality.
  • Incident Awareness & Response
    Identify potential security incidents and understand your role in incident response activities.
  • System Design & Architecture
    Design systems that meet user needs while aligning with enterprise architecture standards and long-term IT strategy.
  • Project Leadership
    Lead complex, high-impact projects with a focus on delivering optimal system performance and business outcomes.
  • Mentorship & Collaboration
    Coach and mentor junior team members. Collaborate across departments to ensure alignment and knowledge sharing.

Ideal Candidate:
  • Extensive experience in systems architecture, design, and implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of information security principles and incident response protocols.
  • Proven ability to lead complex projects and mentor technical staff.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and IT governance.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum three years relevant information experience, required.
    • Knowledge and experience of anatomic pathology workflows preferred
    • Clinical and/or IT experience strongly preferred
    • End user; device management; and/or IT networking experience strongly preferred
  • Licensure/Certification: Obtain application system certification; pass all certifications within three attempts for each test or project, required.
    • EPIC Beaker (Anatomic Pathology) certification strongly preferred.
  • Additional Skills (required):
    • Proficient with workflows, application product function, design and build expertise. Strong analytical skills for new functions, problem resolution and support of the application product. Proficient in ITS processes to include but not limited to analysis, design, build, and testing and change control. Ability to drive/travel to multiple locations/facilities as needed.
