Job Title: Senior GC Estimator (US Based Estimation)
Location: Peco Road, Lahore

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced General Contractor (GC) Estimator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 year of hands-on experience in estimating for GC projects based in the United States. You will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, assessing project risks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support successful project execution. A solid understanding of US construction practices and standards is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to extract accurate quantities.
- Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs using tools such as Bluebeam and Plan Swift.
- Assist in compiling estimates in accordance with all CSI divisions.
- Coordinate with the senior estimator for scope clarifications and project updates.
- Maintain well-organized project documentation and estimation files.
- Prepare comprehensive cost estimates including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documentation to develop accurate and competitive estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary inputs.
- Identify risks, propose mitigation strategies, and incorporate them into the estimates.
- Track project costs and budget variances, providing timely updates.
- Ensure all estimates are compliant with relevant US building codes and regulatory standards.
- Maintain and update cost databases, estimation tools, and reference libraries.
- Support the project execution team post-award to ensure alignment with the original estimate.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 year of US-based experience in estimating for general contracting projects.
- Solid understanding of US construction methods, codes, and industry practices.
- Proficiency in estimating software such as Plan Swift & Bluebeam tools.
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience working with General Contractors on commercial & residential US-based projects.
