Senior Estimator and Cost Control Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead preparation of detailed cost estimates (preliminary and final) for tower construction projects.
• Analyze project drawings, specs, and tender documents.
• Prepare and verify BOQs based on architectural and structural plans.
• Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Manage the project budget and monitor actual costs vs. estimated costs.
• Generate detailed cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and cost variance analyses.
• Review and validate change orders and their impact on project cost and timeline.
• Collaborate with planning and procurement to align project cost and schedule.
• Support tender submissions and project bidding strategy.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in estimation and cost control, with at least 3 years in UAE high-rise construction.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction market, pricing, and supplier networks.
• Proficient in:
• Excel (advanced level)
• Candy, CostX, or similar estimation software
• AutoCAD
• Primavera P6 or MS Project
• Familiar with FIDIC contracts, local authority regulations (e.g., DM, Trakhees, ADM).
• Excellent reporting, budgeting, and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
