Role Overview
As the Senior Events Manager for CE Arena, you will be the primary architect of our most prestigious large-scale activations. You will oversee the entire event lifecycle—from conceptual design and technical production to high-stakes onsite execution. This role requires a master of logistics and creative storytelling who can navigate the complexities of international talent riders, rigorous safety standards, and the high expectations of the Saudi General Entertainment Authority (GEA).
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Event Planning: Lead the end-to-end production of major concerts, international sporting events, and corporate exhibitions hosted at CE Arena venues.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the senior point of contact for government entities (GEA, Ministry of Culture), international promoters, and VIP clientele.
- Technical Oversight: Manage multidisciplinary teams including AV technicians, stage designers, and overlay specialists to ensure flawless technical delivery.
- Budget & P&L Management: Full accountability for multi-million riyal event budgets, ensuring maximum ROI while maintaining uncompromising production quality.
- Vendor & Talent Management: Negotiate contracts with global suppliers and manage complex logistics for international A-list talent and their technical requirements.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all events adhere to the highest international safety protocols and local Riyadh municipality regulations.
Requirements
- Experience: 12+ years in Large-Scale Event Management or Live Production, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the GCC (Saudi experience highly preferred).
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or Business Administration.
- Certifications: Professional certification in Project Management (PMP) or specialized Event Safety (IOSH/NEBOSH) is a significant advantage.
- Portfolio: A proven track record of delivering events with attendance exceeding 10,000+ or high-profile televised productions.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional "grace under pressure," advanced negotiation skills, and a meticulous eye for detail.
- Language: Professional fluency in English is mandatory; professional Arabic is a critical asset for local government coordination.
