Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Import Operations:

Support the development of import strategies to improve efficiency

  • Manage end-to-end import processes including shipment planning, tracking, customs clearance and delivery.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of goods.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and transport companies.
  • Basic understandings on export/ re export procedures
  • Documentation & Compliance:
  • Prepare and verify import documentation such as AWB/ bills of lading, invoices, COO, form 1 and customs declarations.
  • Coordination with various regulatory authorities to get NOC
  • Ensure compliance with international trade laws and customs regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records for audits and regulatory purposes.

  • Logistics Coordination:
  • Monitor shipment schedules and resolve delays or issues.
  • Coordinate with warehouse teams for delivery.
  • Negotiate shipping contracts and optimize freight costs.
  • Reporting & Strategy:
  • Generate reports on import activities.
  • Stay updated on changes in trade regulations and tariffs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 3–4 years of industrial experience in import/export operations and logistics.

Skills Required:

  • Understanding of customs laws, international trade policies, and logistics
  • communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month
