Homecentre is hiring for a " Senior Executive _ Quality Assurance"

Job Description :

Quality Assurance Executive - Homecentre Develop, Implement, communicate and follow up an effective quality assurance process from requirement creation via supplier’s production to shipment of goods, ensuring that quality is built in from the start, in both product and documentation, to meet set Quality goals.

Minimum 10 years of Experience of Quality with production company or a retail company

Must have expertise in Quality Assurance and preventive Quality work such as product and material requirement, risk analysis, six sigma, and lean production, Quality manufacturing standards and Social and Environmental standards including auditing procedures.

Electrical Engineering or Textile Engineering Post Graduate in Quality

1. Oversees implementation and adherence to defined quality standards
2. Promotes standardization and quality assurance "best practices” to drive continuous improvement.
3. Analyzes root cause of quality problems and assists in corrective/preventive actions
4. Pre-production sample approval, production sample approvals.
5. Conducts product quality testing when needed
6. Monitors and tracks the trend performance of quality and its impact on business objectives.
7. Analyzes quality assurance data and makes recommendation to Buying team based on analysis
8. Works with Legal to understand product and packaging requirements - including regulations, product safety and labeling - and works buying team to communicate quality standards and expectations to agents/vendors.
9. Uses sound judgment to solve problems and address quality concerns.
10. Knowledge transfer to our suppliers on how to achieve required quality standards
11. Midline / Final Inspection reports review
12. Making sure of required test reports available on each item, lab testing from shipment on random pulled samples
13. Warehouse receiving goods condition to be analyzed
14. Monitor on damages, marking / work with supplier to improve the compliance level in terms of marking & packing
15. Random inspection on product quality of items received
16. Store visits to compare the production against the approved samples.
17. Tracking of quality issues
18. Product registration at Dubai Municipality & ESMA as per requirement.

• Knowledge and Industry expertise in both House Hold products –Home textiles, electrical items, Kitchenware, bath ware, fragrances etc.
• Ability to build strong strategies and process to drive overall set goals.
• Ability to build team from scratch to the highest level of Global working standards
• Effective communicator with excellent relationship building & Interpersonal skills
