Senior Export Sales Manager (CIS Experience Mandatory)

The Company


A leading FMCG group with a strong portfolio of traditional food and beverage categories, driving significant growth across international markets. The client is in its next phase of expansion will focus on opening new markets across the CIS region, such as Russia, Armenia, Ukraine and other countries.


The Role


Based in Dubai, the Senior Manager – Export Sales will be responsible for driving market expansion, strengthening distributor and customer relationships, and delivering growth across multiple categories. A key focus will be opening new countries in CIS markets, managing both traditional and emerging categories, and building long-term commercial strategies to maximise revenue and profitability.


  • Lead market entry into new countries across CIS, developing and executing export sales strategies.
  • Manage and grow partnerships with distributors, traders, and direct customers.
  • Drive sales performance and deliver sustainable growth across traditional FMCG categories.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and business opportunities to shape go-to-market strategies.
  • Ensure effective execution of promotional activities, pricing strategies, and supply chain alignment.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and commercial teams to achieve business objectives.


The Candidate


  • Proven experience in export sales within CIS countries is a must.
  • Demonstrated success in opening new countries and developing categories , ideally within the food/FMCG sector.
  • Strong distributor and customer management skills across diverse markets.
  • Fluent in English; Russian language skills would be a strong advantage.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, able to adapt to the needs of smaller, traditional customers.
  • Open to consideration for t alent based both inside and outside the UAE . Relocation to the UAE is mandatory.
