Senior Fabrication Engineer/Welder

Job Title: Senior Fabrication Engineer/Welder (MIG/TIG/MMA).

Hourly Rate: Rate of pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.

Hours: Basic of 40 hours, Mon-Fri (8am – 4.30pm) + opportunity of overtime is provided and will be required on occasion.

Due to growth and workload, we are looking for a motivated and hands-on Senior Fabrication Engineer/Welder within an exciting and fast-moving global industry.

The Role

You will be self-motivated and a pro-active member of a team in the fabrication workshop(s), ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. You will support and lead team members while helping drive productivity, quality, and continuous improvement. We are looking to fill several positions looking for varying levels of experience/skills.

Key Responsibilities

· Working with a team of fabricator/welders

· Ensuring jobs are completed on time and to specification

· Maintaining high standards of quality and safety

· Supporting training and development of workshop staff

· Coordinating workflow and assisting with production planning

· Promoting a positive and professional team environment

· Leading by example with a strong hands-on approach

What We’re Looking For

· Previous experience within fabrication, welding, or manufacturing (MIG/TIG/MMA)

· Previous experience/knowledge of working to BS EN 1090, EXC3

· Experience leading or supervising a workshop team

· Strong communication and organisational skills

· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

· A proactive attitude with excellent problem-solving ability

· Commitment to health & safety and quality standards

· Full driving licence
