Senior FF&E Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of FF&E design concepts in alignment with project requirements, design intent, and company standards.
• Source, evaluate, and specify furniture, fixtures, finishes, materials, and accessories, ensuring design quality and compliance with project specifications.
• Prepare comprehensive mood boards, sample boards, and high-quality presentation materials.
• Write and manage detailed FF&E specifications, schedules, and procurement documentation.
• Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and contractors to secure samples, quotations, and technical data.
• Collaborate closely with the design and technical teams to ensure seamless coordination and integration of FF&E with the overall project.
• Manage FF&E cost estimates, budgets, and value-engineering exercises when required.
• Stay informed on emerging market trends, innovative products, sustainable materials, and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience as an FF&E Designer within established interior design or architectural firms.
• Proven expertise in high-end residential and hospitality projects is essential.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating FF&E design capabilities and specification writing.
• Proficiency in design and documentation software (AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop, MS Office, etc.).
• Excellent knowledge of furniture design, materials, finishes, and supplier networks.
• Strong technical writing skills for creating precise and clear FF&E specifications.
• Highly detail-oriented, creative, and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
