As a
Senior FF&E Designer
, you will be responsible for leading the selection, design, and specification of all furniture, fixtures, and equipment within interior design projects. This role requires strong creative direction, a deep understanding of materials and finishes, and the ability to coordinate with suppliers and project teams to deliver elegant and functional interior spaces that align with the project vision and brand identity.
You will play a key role in transforming design concepts into reality, ensuring that every FF&E element reflects quality, functionality, and design excellence.
Your responsibilities will encompass the following key areas:
Design Development & Creative Direction:

Lead the FF&E design process from concept to completion for multiple projects.

Develop mood boards, material palettes, and furniture concepts aligned with the overall design intent.

Prepare detailed FF&E schedules, specifications, and presentation boards for client approval.

Ensure the integration of FF&E elements with interior architecture and finishes.
Material & Furniture Selection:

Source and select furniture, fabrics, lighting, artwork, accessories, and decorative materials.

Evaluate samples and finishes to ensure design consistency, durability, and aesthetic quality.

Maintain and update a library of materials, finishes, and supplier references.
Coordination & Procurement Support:

Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and procurement teams for quotations, samples, and product information.

Review shop drawings, mock-ups, and material submittals for accuracy and quality compliance.

Manage FF&E budgets, procurement schedules, and ensure adherence to project timelines.

Support the procurement team during tendering and vendor selection processes.
Implementation & Quality Assurance:

Oversee on-site installation and styling to ensure the final setup matches the approved design and specifications.

Conduct quality inspections to confirm compliance with design and performance standards.

Provide technical and aesthetic direction to ensure project consistency and excellence.
Research & Trend Awareness:

Stay up-to-date with design trends, new materials, and innovations in furniture and lighting design.

Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers to expand sourcing opportunities.
To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes
:

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture.

6–8 years of experience in the interior design field, with at least 3 years specializing in FF&E design.

Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and furniture design principles.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, and MS Office; experience in Revit, SketchUp, or 3D rendering software is a plus.

Excellent communication, presentation, and coordination skills.

Strong attention to detail, organizational, and multitasking abilities.

Experience in hospitality, high-end residential, or commercial projects is preferred.

Proven ability to manage FF&E design from concept through execution.
