This is a full-time position based in Pune, Maharashtra, reporting to the Finance Controller – FOSS India.

What you will do

As a Senior Finance Analyst, you will support the Finance Controller in ensuring the smooth functioning of all financial activities at FOSS India. You will manage statutory compliances, support audits, and drive improvements in accounting and reporting processes.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Managing day-to-day accounting activities such as bookkeeping, journal entries, and reconciliations.
  • Preparing and processing vendor payments, import remittances, and statutory returns (GST, TDS).
  • Coordinating and supporting statutory, tax, and transfer pricing audits.
  • Ensuring compliance with Indian Accounting Standards and internal corporate reporting.
  • Assisting with budgeting, cost control, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders for financial and regulatory matters.

Professional and personal competences

We imagine that you have:

  • A Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or an MBA (Finance).
  • 1–2 years of experience in accounting, statutory compliance, and financial reporting.
  • Sound knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards, tax laws, and corporate reporting.
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP and strong Excel skills.
  • Good communication skills in English and Hindi, with the ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities with integrity.
