Job Overview

The Senior Finance Executive will play a key role in supporting business decisions through financial insights, analysis, and collaboration with internal stakeholders. This role involves driving financial performance by partnering with business units, analyzing trends, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and ensuring alignment between financial goals and strategic priorities.

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Business Partnering & Decision Support

  • Act as a finance partner to business leaders, providing insights and recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with commercial, operations, and project teams to understand key business drivers and provide financial guidance.
  • Support business cases for new initiatives, investments, and cost-saving projects.
  • Assist in scenario analysis, pricing evaluations, and margin analysis to aid strategic decision-making.

2. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

  • Support preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
  • Analyze variances between actuals, budgets, and forecasts, highlighting risks and opportunities.
  • Prepare monthly management reports and dashboards for business reviews.

3. Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Monitor key financial metrics and operational KPIs to evaluate business performance.
  • Consolidate financial data from multiple departments for accurate and timely reporting.
  • Assist in presenting financial performance summaries to senior management.

4. Process Improvement & Compliance

  • Identify areas for process automation and efficiency improvement in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and accounting standards.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors during financial reviews.

5. Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Partner with procurement, HR, and project management teams to ensure financial alignment on major initiatives.
  • Provide training or guidance to non-financial stakeholders to improve financial literacy across the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (4 Years) in finance, Accounting, (master’s degree or ACCA/CIMA/CA finalist preferred).
  • At least 5 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or business partnering roles.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, business modeling, and performance metrics.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Power BI (or other data visualization tools).
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) is an advantage.
