The Senior Manager, Finance (FP&A) serves as a strategic leader and key business partner responsible for driving financial performance, strengthening FP&A capabilities, and influencing decision-making across designated business segments. This role provides senior-level financial leadership, oversees critical planning processes, and ensures excellence in reporting, analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to maximize organizational value. The key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to the following:
STRATEGIC PLANNING & CORE PROCESSES- Lead the annual budgeting and Long-Range Planning (LRP) process, ensuring cross-functional alignment, financial rigor, and strategic clarity.
- Direct and oversee the monthly forecasting process, including variance analysis, performance analytics, and insights that drive accountability and improved business outcomes.
- Evaluate complex business cases, including profitability strategies, asset viability assessments, and innovation investments, providing high-quality financial recommendations to senior leadership.
- Develop and institutionalize KPI frameworks that enhance profitability, measure strategic progress, and inform executive decision-making.
- Champion standardization and best practices across finance processes, ensuring global consistency, scalability, and organizational efficiency. REPORTING, COVERNANCE & COMPLIANCE
- Own the timely consolidation, review, and delivery of monthly Business Review Meeting (BRM) materials, including P&L, working capital, and cash flow performance for the business units.
- Oversee quarterly MD&A analytics and contribute to Board of Directors reporting, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and strategic insight.
- Ensure compliance with all corporate and local reporting requirements, maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity.
- Safeguard data accuracy and enforce strong financial controls to prevent misstatements and uphold governance expectations. COMMUNICATION & LEADERSHIP
- Serve as a key advisor to senior leadership, including the CFO, business unit heads, and cross functional executives, by presenting critical financial results, trends, and recommendations.
- Communicate proactively with stakeholders regarding events or activities that may impact financial performance, ensuring visibility and proper risk management.
- Provide stewardship over SG&A cost structures, driving efficiency and alignment with strategic priorities.
- Translate complex data into actionable insights on business drivers, risks, opportunities, investments, and operational performance to shape high-impact decisions. CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT, SYSTEMS & DATA ANALYTICS
- Lead initiatives to enhance budgeting, forecasting, and LRP processes, optimizing efficiency, accuracy, and analytical capability.
- Advance reporting tools, dashboards, data warehouses, models, and templates to improve financial transparency and decision support across the organization.
- Provide oversight of financial controls, advanced analytics, value-added reporting, and performance metrics to support sustained business improvement. - Integrated business systems experience.
- High proficiency in personal computer technology and various software packages including Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint, PowerBI, BPC, SAP
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS
- Expert financial modeling and analytical skills for budgeting and forecasting combined with a strong attention to detail

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Engineering (or related degree).
- Fluent in Korean and English (written and verbal); able to produce executive-ready materials and communicate effectively with global leadership teams and cross-cultural stakeholders.
- Experience within a Korean large enterprise environment and/or U.S. expatriate assignment experience is highly valued, given the cross-cultural coordination and DLC interface requirements
