Key Responsibilities
Core Functions
- Handle full-cycle accounting, including AP/AR, GL reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closings.
- Prepare accurate financial statements in compliance with local regulations.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Ensure adherence to UAE VAT regulations and timely tax filings.
Collaboration & Communication
- Liaise with external auditors, banks, and government authorities.
- Coordinate with internal departments for financial data and reporting alignment.
- Support leadership with timely financial insights and decision-making tools.
- Communicate financial policies and procedures to relevant stakeholders.
Performance, Reporting & Compliance
- Develop and maintain internal financial controls and documentation.
- Prepare and present monthly management reports and variance analyses.
- Assist in cost analysis, risk assessment, and strategic planning.
- Maintain compliance with IFRS and UAE-specific accounting requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Senior Accountant, preferably in the UAE.
- Strong understanding of UAE accounting standards and tax laws.
- Proficiency in accounting tools such as Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Oracle, or SAP.
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA/CA preferred).
- Advanced Excel skills and analytical thinking.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
- Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
Work Arrangement: Type: Full-time, on-site position
Note: Remote or hybrid work is not available. Candidates must be based in or willing to relocate to the UAE.
