The Role

As a Senior Financial Analyst with Worley , you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.

The Financial Analyst will:

  • Manage and coordinate financial planning and performance for the region to ensure timely and accurate reporting, supporting decision-making at both location and regional levels.
  • Provide analytical support and backup to locations, enabling effective business decisions.
  • Support the development and implementation of value-add planning and analysis tools to enhance reporting and forecasting capabilities.
  • Drive continuous improvement of FP&A processes and systems, focusing on efficiency, accuracy, and automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise and support stakeholders on FP&A matters impacting reporting and performance.
  • Conduct analysis to identify areas for improvement and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of reporting and analytical tools to improve understanding of actual and forecast performance.
  • Support the India FP&A Manager in rolling out monthly results and associated backup data.
  • Assist with budget, forecast, monthly, and weekly processes, ensuring data accuracy and integrity in Hyperion.
  • Measure key KPIs and performance drivers for business and locations.
  • Coordinate, review, and distribute weekly reports, location reporting packs, and regional analysis to stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for FP&A processes, focusing on automation, efficiency, and data quality.
  • Maintain high standards of accountability, confidentiality, and information accuracy.
  • Maintain an effective internal control framework to highlight and manage risks through independent assessment of business health.
  • Ensure clarity, accuracy, and professionalism in all communications and presentations.
  • Collaborate effectively with teams to support regional financial objectives.

About You

To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:

Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant, or MBA with significant experience in financial planning and analysis.
  • Minimum 7 years of finance experience, with at least 3 years in FP&A, including exposure to financial operations and management reporting.
  • Should be availability to support the East Coast of Australia, which may require a 7:00 AM start in India.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to deep dive into data to drive insights.
  • Ability to work independently, set work priorities, and manage multiple tasks in a broad direction.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English, enabling clear and effective communication with local and regional stakeholders.
